Another spot to meet up with my old 360 friends.... helloooo, are you guys here?

I know it is only Sunday and that there are still four more days until Valentine's day is here but why wait? Why not get those wishes for renewed friendships, lost loves, saying those important things, telling those we care about how much we care and most of all: letting those we love know it.

I am just sitting here for but a moment while I do this as is usual I have much too much to be doing to get ready for work tomorrow to sit and chat on or play at my computer... though I wish I could because this is much more fun than that is. Oh well, the work has to be done and I have to do it so enough of this and on with that.

Just remember this:

You don't need a set date, a man made holiday to tell those you care about how much you love them and what they mean to you. Don't wait for Thursday..... do it today and every day. You just never know for sure if you'll even have the chance tomorrow or the next day.

: Good Saturday morning to everyone. I'm home today and it is a nice place to be. It's clean, it's quiet, there are no little kids running around, screaming, fighting, or getting into things and no one needs a diaper changed. Wow, what a wonderful relaxing change this is.

Today I started my day by getting woke up at 7:15am by a parent who was not supposed to be at the center with her children until 7:30am. She was the first scheduled in. The opening girl Kim was to be there before her at 7:25am. I explained to the mother that the center was open today and that the worker would be there before 7:30 as that is the time she had given. She apologized for waking me and I decided to stay up. You see, I had already slept in quite a long time. I actually went to bed by 11:30pm last night and slept until I automatically woke up to the alarm clock in my head that went off at 4:50am. When I realized I did not have to go to work and therefore was not late for work, I got up and got a drink and went back to bed and back to sleep. I again awoke at 6:39am and laid there until I fell back to sleep...... oh yeah.... that was just before the phone rang. Anyways, I slept a good 6 or 7 hours and that's a lot more than I usually get so I am rather rested and alert today.

I got up, put on the coffee and got a quick shower and got myself dressed and ready for the day. I went to the bank and made my deposts and then met my husband for breakfast at a little downtown restaurant and enjoyed a one egg western omelet and a piece of toast. I then went by the center and picked up stacks of paperwork to do today. Alisha was cleaning her infant room from top to bottom and Kim was tending to the little ones that were there.

I decided after organizing all of my work stuff for the day on my enormous dining room table that I'd take one quick little break and enter this blog and I think I'll also post it on my new "Multiply" page. YES! I am there too now....... just in case we do loose our 360 site. If you'd like to join me there, I am using this same name, only without any spaces: angelofdreamz.

Now I am off to work. I have attendance records to record from the time cards for 74 children. Can you believe it? The center is growing by leaps and bounds and we are full almost all of the time now. Then I will be finalizing attendance records for October and setting up and updating those for November. I know, I'm just a little behind but thanks to the time cards.... not a problem. After finishing those, I will enter my state billings on my computer and then work on finalizing all of the records for the October food program which also ends a fiscal year with the federal programs so I will need to get everything set up and ready for the new fiscal years record keeping. Guess I have enough to keep me busy for the day, wouldn't you agree?

Well, before I go get busy, I just wanted to leave you with this really cute little bit of information. I received this in an email from a friend and I just couldn't help but find it way too funny and sadly enough, sometimes quite the way it really is as we get older. I'm sure that you'll all see the humor in it, especially those of you who are over 40.
